Madhuri Adwani is a storyteller and narrative practitioner who revels in the art of how we listen and how we tell our lives. She moves across towns, kasbahs and rural areas with a listening ear and a recorder. She has written and produced audio stories for shows like Tapri Tales (with IVM podcast), Kahaniyon ka Adda (her youtube channel) and Nirantar Radio (with The Third Eye). She is currently working with The Third Eye Portal of Nirantar Trust as Podcast Producer and Managing Editor of The Learning Lab. She has translated stories from other languages into Hindi for audio fiction production like Vaidehi’s story Gulabi Talkies, Mahasweta Devi's Bayen and Nisha Susan’s story Trinity. She mentors and facilitates workshops where her core enquiry is ‘how do we write and tell our narratives’. Her pedagogy involves storytelling at the heart of it.

She is currently working on her book on single women which is based on the audio series Ekal In The City that won the Laadli Media Award in 2023.
